Biography
Dr. Crisp has been a Pastor for more that 45 years in churches large and small across the United States; presently serving as Lead Elder/Teaching Pastor at “The Remnant Church” Kingsport, Tennessee. He has been on various committees and boards at every level of Southern Baptist denominational life, including the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention. He has also served as university and seminary faculty and two terms as a university trustee. He presently is on the Board of Directors for the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem-USA. Since 2021 Dr Crisp has served as an Evangelical Advisor to “The Museum of the Jewish People” (ANU), in Tel Aviv, Israel.
He is acknowledged and embraced among evangelicals as a leading authority on the historical, geographical, and cultural context of both ancient and modern Israel. Dr. Crisp is the Senior Bible Teacher of the “Bible Time Broadcast” Radio/TV and host of “On the Way, with Dr. Tony Crisp” daily podcast.
